Reservation Policy

Minimum stays may apply. All rates subject to change without notice. Your reservation is guaranteed, when deposit is made, until the day of arrival. Check-In time is from 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM. If you intend to arrive later than the standard Check-In window, please contact the Front Desk to make arrangements. In the event of a no show, your reservation will no longer be guaranteed, and your room may be reassigned. Any deposit made on a no show will be forfeited and no refunds will be given. If no deposit has been made within 21 days of the scheduled arrival date, we reserve the right to cancel your reservation. We will send you a cancellation confirmation via email immediately after cancelling your booking.

Minimum Age Policy

You must be 25 years of age or older to make a reservation. All guests under 25 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. A valid photo ID must be presented at the time of Check-In for age verification. Misrepresentation voids reservation.

Arrival/Departure Policy

Check-In time is 2:00 PM
Check-Out time is 10:00 AM

Occupancy Based Rate Policy

Rates are NOT based on the maximum occupancy of the room. Rates begin based on 2 occupants and increase with each additional guest. Additional guests (up to the maximum allowable for the room type) over the age of 9 will be charged at $15 per person per night. Children 9 and under are free. All occupants MUST be included in your reservation. Failure to register additional occupants will result in your removal from our property with no refund. Maximum number of guests allowed in a Double is (4), Studio is (6), 4 Person Efficiency is (4), 6 Person Efficiency is (6), and a Single Room is (2).

Visitor Policy

NO visitors are permitted. Guest Rooms and Facilities are for REGISTERED GUESTS ONLY. No subleasing allowed. Violation of this policy will result in the removal from the property without a refund. Please notify the Front Desk if you would like to add additional occupants (up to the maximum allowed – see Occupancy Based Rate Policy) to your room. Fees apply. Failure to report additional guests will result in the removal from the property without a refund.
 

No-Smoking Policy

Smoking is not permitted in the guest rooms, front office, or game room. This applies to both traditional smoking methods and all electronic delivery systems, including vapes, vaporizers, vape pens, hookah pens, electronic cigarettes (e-cigarettes or e-cigs), e-pipes, and any variations of the foregoing regardless of the product’s name. Smoking of any kind in the guest rooms will result in a $250 cleaning fee.

Pet Policy

No pets are permitted.

Room Policy

Any property damages or missing items will be charged at market value. Preexisting damages or room issues must be reported to the Front Desk immediately after registration to avoid responsibility and potential charges. We are not responsible for any personal property, or their contents, or the storage of them.

Parking Policy

One (1) parking space is provided per room. All vehicles must be registered with the Front Office and display a parking sticker at all times. Unauthorized vehicles will be towed. Parking stickers are non-transferable. Electronic vehicles are permitted as a vehicle type. However, charging the vehicle is the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner and is not permitted on our property.

Quite Time Policy

To ensure a positive and family friendly environment, and for the comfort and convenience of all our guests, this property has “Quiet Time” between the hours of 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM. We ask our guests to be respectful of your neighbors and to not congregate in halls or public areas where the noise may disturb others.

Swimming Pool Policy

There is NO LIFEGUARD on duty. State law requires that children under sixteen (16) years of age are not permitted in the pool or pool area without a parent or legal guardian. Guest(s) are fully responsible for the safety of themselves and children under the age of sixteen (16). By agreeing to these conditions, guest(s) are explicitly releasing The Cardinal Motel of any and all liability while using the pool. It is the guest(s) responsibility to observe all state, local, and county pool rules, whether posted or non posted. Pool and pool area use is not permitted on the day of checkout.

Use of Facilities Policy

Facilities are for registered guests only. Outside visitors are not permitted. If you would like to add someone to your reservation, please contact the Front Desk. There is a $15 per person per day fee for each additional guest up to the maximum allowance per your room type. Guests are NOT permitted to use any property facilities, including the pool/pool area, following Check Out.

Payment Policy

A one night deposit is required to confirm a reservation. Debit/Credit Cards and Personal Checks are accepted forms of deposit payment. Personal checks must be received, and dated, at least 14 days prior to your arrival date. Personal Checks are accepted for DEPOSITS ONLY. Reservations made online will require a deposit payment at the time of booking with a Debit/Credit Card.

BALANCE, plus tax, is due upon Check-In. Balance is payable in Cash, Travelers Check, or Debit/Credit Card. Personal Checks are NOT an accepted form of payment at Check-In.

Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your reservation and receive a full refund if notified two weeks in advance of your arrival date. A $10.00 processing fee will be applied to all cancellations. Cancellations, and Reservations, made within two weeks of your arrival date are NON-REFUNDABLE. No Refunds for Early Departure, Inclement Weather, or Mandatory Evacuations. Misrepresentation Voids Reservations.

 

 

Reservations Made Through Booking.com (Important Information)

Payment Policy
Reservations made through Booking.com will be charged a one night (first night) deposit payment on the Debit/Credit Card provided during booking. This payment will be processed within 24 hours of booking.

Balance, plus tax, is due upon Check-In. Balance is payable in Cash, Travelers Check, or Debit/Credit Card. Personal Checks are NOT an accepted form of payment at Check-In. In the event of a NO SHOW, guests will be charged the FULL AMOUNT of the reservation.

Cancellation and Refund Policy
You may cancel your reservation and receive a full refund of your deposit payment if notified at least 14 days in advance of your arrival date. Cancellations made within 14 days of the arrival date forfeit the one night deposit payment. Reservations made within 14 days of the arrival date carry a NON-REFUNDABLE one night deposit payment. NO REFUNDS for Early Departure, Inclement Weather, or Mandatory Evacuations. Misrepresentation Voids Reservations.
